The families of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, and the former boss of National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA), Mrs Remi Olowu, will, today, be part of their children's traditional marriage ceremony in lagos against the rumoured death of the Adegbite's father the Ooni.
The wife to be a TV personality Dolapo Oni and fiance, Prince Adegbite Sijuwade, the Ooni of Ife's son are set for their traditional wedding which will hold today, Sunday August, 2, 2015.
Sunday Vanguard gathered that the 2 families resolved to go ahead with the marriage programme as a result of due consultations with friends and relations.
On the other hand, there was disagreement between residents of Ile-Ife yesterday on the rationale behind the on-going Oro festival within the city that entered its third day.
Many people of the traditional city , believed the announcement of the Oro could be preceding the formal announcement of the passage of Ooni.
But some residents insisted that the festival had been scheduled to carry long before Sijuwade’s reportable end.
We at Bamillionaire's blog wish them the very best in the new phase of their lives......
