Imo State Plans 26 Mega Watt Power Project

THE Government of Imo state has began plans to contract companies for a 26mw power project in the state to enable the administration actualise its industrialisation and employment policy following the near completion of 330mw NIPP power project in Ohaji/Egbema,as stated by Governor Rochas Okorocha.
He was speaking at the Government House, Owerri, about his trip to the United States as being part of the team that was with President Muhammadu Buhari’s, Okorocha disclosed that since he relieved cabinet members and political appointees,the state has been saving N100 million monthly, while workers pay cost over N2 billion monthly.
