The proposed wedding of the Son of the Osun Monarch, the Ooni of Ife held yesterday as fixed earlier against the news going round of the death of Oba Sijuwade.
The staff of office of the Monarch however was used to represent him at the wedding.
News broke that Oba Okunade Sijuwade died on the 28th of July in a London hospital ,though the Royal Traditional Council say otherwise. The body of the monarch is reported to have arrived the palace and traditional burial rites accorded to the passing of a king has thus began.
