See The Sculpture That Took 20 Men 3 Years To Make

A majestic new attraction at the Fortune Plaza Times Square in Wuhan, the capital of China’s Hubei Province, is being hailed as one of the city’s swankiest landmarks.

The massive redwood lion was carved out of a single giant tree trunk by renowned sculptor Dengding Rui Yao and a team of 20 sculptors in Myanmar, over a period of three years. Once complete, it was transported 5,000 kilometers, arriving in China in December 2015. At 14.5m long, 5m high, and 4m wide, the ‘Oriental Lion’ now holds the Guinness Record for the world’s largest redwood sculpture.

 The general overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye was today given an honorary degree at his alma Mater, Obafemi Awolowo University former University of Ife

He delivered a speech like a sermon after he was robed and conferred with the degree.

He said something worthy of note that should serve as encouragement for us all..

FG Has spent N400bn On Refineries For 13 Years

The Federal Government has spent over N400 billion ($2.036 billion) on the Turn Around Maintenance (TAM) of the country’s refineries in the last 13 years.

Data reveals that the money was budgeted for TAM between 2000 and Jonathan Hembe.

The investments were different from about $308 million spent for the same purpose by the military government of the former heads of state, General Abdusalami Abubakar (rtd) and the late General Sani Abacha.

28-year-old Lionel Messi was crowned the winner of the 2015 Ballon d’Or at Monday’s ceremony in Zurich.

The Argentine and Barcelona star beat Real Madrid’s Christiano Ronaldo and Barca team-mate Neymar to football’s most prestigious individual award, making it the fifth time he is winning the title.

Messi polled 41.33 per cent of the vote, ahead of Ronaldo (27.76 per cent) and Neymar (7.86 per cent).
