A majestic new attraction at the Fortune Plaza Times
Square in Wuhan, the capital of China’s Hubei Province, is being hailed as one
of the city’s swankiest landmarks.
The massive redwood lion was carved out of a single giant
tree trunk by renowned sculptor Dengding Rui Yao and a team of 20 sculptors in
Myanmar, over a period of three years. Once complete, it was transported 5,000
kilometers, arriving in China in December 2015. At 14.5m long, 5m high, and 4m
wide, the ‘Oriental Lion’ now holds the Guinness Record for the world’s
largest redwood sculpture.

ultrasonic technology to convert a bucket or a sink anywhere in the world into a
dirt-busting washing machine.

use Dolfi, all you have to do is fill a sink/bucket with water, add dirty
clothes and detergent, and drop the device in as well. Switch it on and stand
back as it emits powerful ultrasonic waves that travel through water, creating
high pressure bubbles. The bubbles implode creating strong jets of water that

FG Has spent N400bn On Refineries For 13 Years
The
Federal Government has spent over N400 billion ($2.036 billion) on the Turn
Around Maintenance (TAM) of the country’s refineries in the last 13 years.
Data
reveals that the money was budgeted for TAM between 2000 and Jonathan Hembe.
The
investments were different from about $308 million spent for the same purpose
by the military government of the former heads of state, General Abdusalami
Abubakar (rtd) and the late General Sani Abacha.

The

Bukola Saraki Condemns Election Violence In Bayelsa
Senate President Bukola Saraki has condemned the violence that followed the supplementary election in Southern Ijaw Bayelsa State.
The senator took to his social media accounts to openly condemn that act and commiserate with people that might have lost a loved one .He said : ''I commiserate with those that lost a loved one & also commiserate with law enforcement officers who were affected in violence in Bayelsa''.
