Man Spent 20 years In Jail For Murder Of A Man Who Was Alive

Mpagi Edward Edmary, a Ugandan taxi driver, was sentenced to death for the murder of his neighbour in 1982. Not knowing that Edward was an innocent man, no murder had occurred.

Edward had been setup after a land dispute between families in the village got out of hand.

Witnesses were bribed to confirm they had seen him kill the man and throw his body away. He lived the next 20 years in Kampala’s notorious Luzira prison and was only released when his family was able to prove that the dead man had been hiding somewhere in another part of Uganda .

According to ABNA,The Head of Iran’s hadj organisation, Ohadi, has expressed his belief that the amount of victims within the Mina stampede incident in Saudi Arabia that happened on the first day of Eid Al-Adha reached a minimum of 4,700.

According to the interview on Iranian TV yesterday, Ohadi stated that 228 Iranian pilgrims died in mina, adding that "the number of missing Iranians, with no info concerning their whereabouts, has reached 248, and we are afraid that the death toll could rise even more”

India Man Killed Over Rumour Of Eating Beef

A 50-year-old man in northern Bharat has been killed in a mob execution allegedly over rumours that his family had been storing and eating beef in their home.

Mohammad Akhlaq was kicked and stoned by a gaggle of men in Dadri in Uttar Pradesh state on Monday night.

Mr Akhlaq's 22-year-old son was seriously injured in the attack, and has been admitted to a hospital.

68 Year Old Woman Arrested For Allegedly Killing Her 8th Husband

Although she appears harmless, 68-year-old Chisako Kakehi is perhaps one among the foremost dangerous women in the world. Nicknamed ‘The Black Widow of Kyoto’ by the media, she is believed to be answerable for the deaths of eight men who were romantically committed to her at some point in time.

Kakehi currently based in Kyoto is presently in police custody, for the fourth time in her life. Kakehi has been in relationships with over ten men, eight of whom eventually ended up dead, according to Kyoto Police.

A member of the family of Chief Falae during the weekend confirmed that ransom was paid before Falae was released.

The former Secretary to the Government of the Federation and national chairman of the Social Demo­cratic Party (SDP) was abducted from his farm at Ilado in Akure North Local Government Area by suspected Fulani herdsmen. He was released after four days in the kidnapper’s custody.

Teenage Migrant Found Stuffed Under Car Dashboard

An immature migrant was found unconscious, stuffed below the automobile dashboard of a BMW salon car when officers searched the vehicle once it came across Spain's border of its North African enclave of Melilla on the 24^th of September. Police discovered him through his heartbeat as he tried to smuggle into Spain.

He was a 19-year-old migrant from Guinea and once he was found, he couldn’t breathe well, and police hurried him to a hospital for revival. A Spaniard was later arrested and charged with human trafficking over the incident.

Woman Sends ‘Robot’ To Queue For New iPhoneS

One Australian woman decided to dispatch a “robot” to do the queuing for the release Friday of Apple’s new device in Sydney.

Lucy Kelly, 22, was the face and voice of the unusual-looking device- an iPad attached to a remote-controlled Segway-style scooter which she parked outside the store 27 hours before the iPhone 6s and 6s plus went on sale.

“It’s a clear demonstration of the future and what’s coming,” Kelly told AFP after becoming one of the first owners of one of each of the new phones.

The device waited with other Apple fans until doors opened at 8:00 am on Friday and was one of the first inside before being taken upstairs via a lift in its case to make Kelly’s purchases.

Kelly, whose face appeared on the iPad screen, was able to speak to Apple staff and give her permission to use the credit card she had stuck to her small scooter.
