For
Vanessa Brooks, the saying of love changes everything seem not to have worked
as her eager to modify her appearance for love ended a disaster.
After
years of being called “Nessy Big Nose”, Vanessa’s relationship was in tatters
due to her emotion of her own reflection.
So
together with her husband footing the bill for a nose job, Vanessa went in for
a surgery in an exceedingly bid to save her marriage.
But
rather than getting the nose she’d perpetually wanted, she was left with a
unshapely “beak”.
The
Sun reports that Since then, the full-time mum-of-four has had 2 additional
surgery to mend her nose however, each time, it's comes out worse.
The
trauma caused by the 3 unskilled surgeries has left her shut-in, out of work
and affected her marriage she wished to save as she doesn’t feel comfortable with
her appearance.
It
however has taken Vanessa four years to receive £50,000 in compensation from
her Surgeon, who admitted clinical negligence.
The
39 years old Vanessa still suffers from respiratory issues, says “My life has
been ruined since having the nose job.
“I’ve
lost my job, relationship, friends and my confidence is at an all-time low.
“I
wouldn’t even call what I’ve been left with a nose, it looks more like a beak.
It’s disgusting. I would do anything to have my old nose back.”
