The PUNCH reports that the Nigerian president while responding to questions asked by members of
the Civil Society audience during the session provided by the United States
Institute of Peace said, “I am not too
confident about my memory. Let me answer one question at a time.”
Mr President who had before now called Angela Merkel, German Chancellor,
the President of West African Germany has prompted questions about his memory
and how well his knowledge to understand issues can affect his ability to
deliver on his promises to Nigerians.
In the course of the Q&A event themed “A Conversation with President
Muhammadu Buhari,” the Nigerian President confirmed the earlier statement he
made during his inaugural speech where he said, “Remember I said I belong to nobody I belong to everybody. I will work
for all the constituencies.”
