Louis Van Gaal, Manchester United Manager
declared that Angel Di Maria’s whereabouts is unknown.
This is coming at the time when the former Real Madrid player is
so close to signing a deal with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
According to reports from The Punch while referring to Goal.com,
Di Maria has not been seen for pre-season training which was scheduled for July
25.
Van Gaal further confirmed that he didn’t meet his team-mates
in San Jose as planned. After the match between United and PSG, which ended 2-0
in favour of PSG in a pre-season game in Chicago on Wednesday night, the player
became absent. PSG manager, Laurent Blanc confirmed that talks are at an
advanced stage.
Manchester United manager Van Gaal, while addressing a press
conference after the match at Soldier Field, in his words said: “I don’t know where he is,” but it
seemed evident that Blanc had more details on the purported migration of the
27-year-old from United to the French capital giants.
