At
least five individuals are confirmed dead after 2 female suicide bombers
attacked a mosque on Ajilanri cross in Maiduguri, Borno state
According
to reports, the first bomber was waiting outside the mosque for the Muslim faithful
to come out of the mosque so she could detonate the bomb however luckily, prolonged
prayers kept worshippers within the mosque.
The
female bomber eventually blew herself up, and killed a couple of those that
were outside the mosque. The second terrorist detonated hers few meters removed
from the mosque.
