Yemi Alade, Davido battle for MTV EMA Best African Act

The nominees for the MTV EMA Best African Act has been revealed and it pitches the artistes at th top of their game at the moment.

The nominees for this year are AKA from South Africa, Davido from Nigeria, Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania and Yemi Alade from Nigeria and there's a blank spot to be filled too!

MTV is putting the power into the hands of fans to vote for their 'wildcard' nominee by tweeting to vote for who they want to be in this category. Voting is open until monday September, 14, 2015.

Fans can vote using the #MTVEMA and also with the artiste's hashtag
