Self-Proclaimed Living god Of Kenya Dies Of Mosquito Bites

A self-proclaimed living god in Kenya, Jehovah Wanyonyi, is dead.

Standard Digital reports that the self-proclaimed god who lived in Chemororoch village in Uasin Gishu County, western Kenya died after he could not survive malaria on July 18 on his way to Cherangany Nursing Home in Kitale town.

 Although the family of the man tried misleading the public by saying he is still alive, Assistant Chief Paul Bett revealed that he gave the family of the deceased a burial permit on July 19, the day after he died to allow them bury him. “He died on July 18th on his way to the hospital and his son came for the permit the following day,” said Mr Bett.

Jehovah Wanyonyi, has an impressive number of followers in Uganda. He had back challenges four years ago which has confined him to. This has made him to a wheelchair at the home. He has 70 wives, 500 children and more than 1,000 grandchildren. He was reported to have said that he brought HIV/AIDS to earth as a punishment to humanity for defying his commandments.  He claimed to be the Almighty God and deemed Jesus Christ to be his son. He's said to be 98 years old before his death.
