The
Supreme Court earlier today nullified the election of Stella Oduah and Andy Uba.
Both senators represent Anambra North and Anambra South senatorial zones
respectively.
Their
mandate was dismissed by the court in a ruling delivered today, January 29.
This development hereby nullifies the declaration of Independent National
Electoral Commission of them to be winners of the senatorial election held last
year.
Stella
Oduah and Andy Uba were elected under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic
Party, PDP.
PDP
no longer have any senator from Anambra State with the latest ruling.
