Lawmakers
have disclosed that the Libya's internationally recognized parliament has
rejected UN-backed unity government.
AFP
news agency quoted parliamentarian Ali al-Gaydi saying ; “We voted against endorsing the
government and asked to be presented with another government”.
The
vote is seen as a major setback to efforts made by the UN to end the
instability which has hit Libya since Col Muammar Gaddafi in 2011 was overthrown
by Nato-backed forces.
