Cat Saves 3year Old Boy From Gun Shot

Over the years, Cats have been said to possess 9 lives, and this fearless cat used one amongst his lives to prevent the death of a 3year old boy.

Ginger tomcat Opie was shot by a stray bullet that smashed through a front room window of Angelica Sipe's home in Pennsylvania.
The bullet ricocheted off the couch and hit the cat within the head, came out from his neck and into his shoulder and out his cavity rib space, Sipe told Fox43.
It eventually entered a cushion, inches from wherever her three-year-old son Daemire was sleeping.
Sipe explained to the news channel: "It took me a second to realise what just happened. The first thing I did was check on my son and he was sound asleep.
"Then I saw my cat on the floor. It could have been my son."
The cat was rushed to an emergency vet clinic where he had to go through a surgery for muscle injury. He conjointly incorporates a evacuation tube and stitches.

With the bill for treating the cat reaching $1,000 Sipe said "He was my son's little hero, so I need to keep him around."
