Issa Hayatou Of Cameroon To Take Over As Acting Fifa President Following Sepp Blatter’s Suspension For 90 Days

FIFA president Sepp Blatter and his UEFA counterpart Michel Platini have been hit with 90 day suspensions by FIFA's independent Ethics Committee.

Blatter is being investigated regarding a contract he signed that was "unfavourable" to FIFA. He is also accused of making a "disloyal" payment to UEFA president and FIFA vice-president PlatiniBoth Platini and Blatter deny any wrong doing.
FIFA's General Secretary Jerome Valcke, who is already on leave, has also been suspended for 90 days.

Issa Hayatou of Cameroon will take over as acting FIFA President after Sepp Blatter was provisionally suspended for 90 days on Thursday by an ethics committee, soccer’s governing body confirmed in a statement, Reuters reports.
