An
80 years old woman named Madam Comfort Izeomwen has been arrested by the Edo State
Police Command alongside her accomplice, lady Stella Omobude aged 48 years lady,
who was apprehended with thirty two live cartridges.
Edo
State commissioner, Chris Ezike,who paraded the suspects , aforementioned the
ladies were in captured when police raided Evbueren village, on Benin/Auchi road,
where the ladies reside when they got an information from anonymous person regarding
their operation.
"I sell
(cartridges) to them at N250, but I don’t know what they do with it. That is what
I do for a living," the octogenarian confessed while speaking with
journalists at the command headquarters, PM news reported.
The
police aforementioned they recovered sixty eight live cartridges from the 80
year old woman. Ezike conjointly disclosed that a mop-up operation also led to
the arrest of Ita Ehiozefe, 40 & Monday Obaseki, 38.
