PM News reports that the house was discovered
during a house-to-house monthly environmental exercise by the Ministry of
Environment officials. It was made known that the house, which is situated at
13, Alhaji Abass Street, off Adebowale Street, Ojodu-Berger, had dangerous and
wild animals such as panther, water snake, giant eagle, crocodiles and others
which were being reared by one Mr. John Adekanbi.
Aside
from this, the house was said to be a hive for dangerous diseases as the
environment is very dirty with a disused toilet, heaps of dirt everywhere and
the wild animals sometimes stray away from where they are kept, posing a high
threat to neighbours.
This
act of rearing dangerous animals amongst human is not allowed in the state,
hence, the shutting down of the building
