Man Kills Himself While Taking Selfies With Loaded Gun Unknowingly

A man has met his tragic end when he used a loaded gun as a selfie stick to snap photos of himself and his girlfriend.

The 43-year-old Concrete man died Sunday upon accidentally shooting himself within the face with what he thought was an unloaded gun.

Skagit County Sheriff’s workplace Chief of Patrol, Chad Clark disclosed that the person and his girlfriend were at a residence within the 46000 block of Baker Loop Road taking pictures of themselves with the gun when the incident occurred.

The girlfriend reported that they had done this many times during the day, with the deceased apparently removing the bullets then reloading the gun multiple times.

After the last time, however, a bullet apparently remained within the gun, Clark said.

The death is being investigated as accidental, Clark said.
