Widow Raped To Death In Ebonyi

A 34-year-old widow, Mrs Ogodo Egede was allegedly raped to death by 40-year-old Alex Nwabu man in Egwudunagu village, Amachi community in Abakaliki Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

Reports have it that the woman was killed at her house after suffering several death threats from the suspect if she ever told anyone about their affair.

According to The Trent, the bruised corpse of the widow who was an artisan which took care of her children from her vocation, was discovered after the incident.

Reports from a family source said following threat to expose Nwabu by the 13-year-old daughter of the deceased, when he refused to desist from his wicked act, he forcefully ejected the girl from the house.
