Traditionalists Urge Buhari To Declare August 20 Public Holiday In Their Honour

Stakeholders within the African ancient faith have known as on government to present them due recognition to allow them play core roles within the economic development of the country. 

This was the accord reached at a one-day seminar  put together  by the Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture, with Association of African Traditional Religion of Nigeria and Overseas (AATREN), with the theme: “Traditional Religion As A Catalyst For Economic Development.”

The president of AATREN, High Chief Ifesegun Elegushi, the Opemoluwa of Ikateland, was emphatic that recognizing ancient faith would provide adherents nice chance to contribute their quota to the economic development of African country through the introduction of ancient hand works and thru different means that.
