Boko Haram to swap govt. detainees for Chibok girls

The Boko Haram sect is willing to free the over two hundred schoolgirls seized from their hostels at the govt. Secondary school, Chibok, Borno State last year in exchange for the discharge of militant leaders in the custody of the government.
According to information from an  activist who pleaded obscurity as he wasn’t authorised to speak to reporters on the sensitive issue, it absolutely was unconcealed that Boko Haram’s current supply is restricted to the schoolgirls kidnapped on the 14th of April, 2014.
“The new initiative reopens a suggestion made last year to the govt. of former President GoodluckJonathan to unleash the 219 students in exchange for sixteen Boko Haram detainees,” the activist disclosed.
He stated that the five-week-old administration of President Muhammadu Buhari “offers a clean slate” to bring the militants back to negotiations that had become poisoned by the various security agencies and their recommendation to Jonathan.
It will be recalled that the Special consultant to the President on Media and subject matter, Femi Adesina, on Saturday explicit that the Buhari-led government “will not be aversed” to talks with Boko Haram.
Further more, Sheikh Muhammad Khalid, leader of Apo Legislator’s Quarter’s Jumat house, has off the special i’tikaaf prayer ordinarily ascertained by Muslims throughout the last ten days of Ramadan in the mosque.
I’tikaaf may be a special prayer offered my Muslims throughout the last ten days of Ramadan.
During that period, a Muslim is needed to retire to the mosque and stay in seclusion alone with the intention of providing prayers and supplication to Allah.
Sheikh Muhammad Khalid proclaimed the cancellation of the prayer in associate degree interview with the NAN in Abuja on Wednesday.
He same the move had become necessary following redoubled insecurity within the country.
He added, “Everyone will testify to the very fact that insecurity is changing into higher; bombings became the order of the day within the North, particularly within the north-eastern a part of the country.
“We got to be part of hands with the govt. to try and do whatever we are able to probably neutralize our capability to tackle it headlong.
“However, it's a really troublesome task to tackle as a result of the faceless nature of the Boko Haram members that are terrorising our country Nigeria.”
Khalid then urged alternative Imams to not permit the special prayer in their mosques therefore as to not threaten the protection of potential participants.
