| Godknows Igali
Just
about a week after the Permanent Secretary in the Power Ministry, Godknows Igali,
came out to say that N2.74 trillion had been spent since 1999 on the drive for
better electricity supply without any significant result, the permanent
secretary himself is to be investigated over some alleged fraud in the sector.

The
Guardian has learned that the Senate has received a petition accusing Godknows of
diverting N3.5 billion purposed for payment of beneficiaries of the National
Power Sector Apprenticeship Scheme (NAPSAS).
